gary passanise works fluidly in a wide variety of mediums. Emphasis is always placed on relevant conceptual content and a medium is chosen to best articulate concepts, contextual meaning and parameters for site-specific installations.

his work explores series after series of dichotomies; the sublime and the monotonous; formalism and post-formalism, the sacred and the scorned and on. his work simultaneously follows a continuous chronological reinvention based on the curious historic moments and personal evolutions that inform and direct my constructions and concepts.
